Colchester Ladies Circle

Celebrating 75 years this year, Ladies Circle has come a long way from its inception as a club for the wives of Round Tablers. Now open to all women at 18 to 45, Ladies Circle is open, inclusive and more than ready to welcome a new generation of modern women through its doors.

Colchester Round Table

Founded to give young men a place to meet, make friends, and exchange ideas, the Round Table has modernised, and has as much to offer men aged 18 to 45 today as it did when it started in 1927.

We know that Colchester Carnival 2012 may seem a long way off, but we thought you might like to hear an update on the plans for next year’s event.

2012 date

Colchester Carnival 2012 will be on Saturday 30th June. Please put the date in your diary, and let all your friends know.

2011 grants

We are pleased to announce that we have distributed nearly £4,500 in grants to good causes which will benefit the people of Colchester.

Partner events for 2012

We will be adding to the event with contributions from Sparks Will Fly, which is part of Essex County Council’s Cultural Olympiad celebrations. Also, we are pleased to be bringing TACMEP into our Castle Park fun day. TACMEP will be adding their cultural diversity festival to our family event, so we really feel we’ll have a multi-cultural feel to the event this year. Finally, we will be hosting the Hopscotch world record attempt! More details to follow soon!
